Etna DOC
The story of our wines, as the one of our land, is fascinatingly intertwined with that of our beloved Mount Etna. A place where myths and legends came to life, once a meeting ground for ancient civilizations, such as the Greeks and Romans, who were among the first to recognize the bold character of our territory and the uniqueness of the grapes and wine that, just like back then, continue to captivate everyone.
The company
On the ancient lava terraces of Rovittello, nestled between the breathtaking views of the Alcantara Valley and the Etna Park, in the municipality of Castiglione di Sicilia, where time seems to breathe more slowly, the Fischetti Family preserves a traditional palmento, carefully and lovingly restored. Every stone, every beam, every vine tells a story of patience, silence, and deep roots.
Here, at 650 meters above sea level, Etna speaks through century-old native vines, cultivated in the traditional bush-trained method and tended exclusively by hand. It’s a tailored, attentive and discreet viticulture that reflects the delicacy of an ancient gesture and the strength of the surrounding nature. Hospitality is part of our identity. It’s the family that opens its doors. It’s a place that feels like home. It’s a warmth that cannot be built, only inherited.
Our mission
Our mission is to create wines that authentically reflect the Etna region, through an entirely handmade process that respects nature. We preserve a vineyard that is over a century old and its history, working the land without altering its identity and promoting timeless Sicilian craftsmanship. Each bottle is born from the desire to preserve the character of the place, transforming it into contemporary signature winemaking. When you drink it, you are putting a wine on the table that carries with it years of history, culture and memory of its vineyard.
The estate
Our estate is a green oasis on Mount Etna: a living, protected place where wine breathes. Here, the land is not a backdrop, but the origin. Everything comes from the earth, grows in our hands and takes shape in the glass.
Visiting the estate means immersing yourself in our way of understanding wine: natural, essential, linked to the history of the centuries-old vineyard that we care for every day. It is a direct encounter with our idea of beauty: that which comes from nature, craftsmanship and time.

The Fischetti
Family
An ancient and illustrious lineage that flourished in the Kingdoms of Naples and Sicily. Domenico, born in Naples around 1725 to Giovanni, a master in Naples in 1732, was a painter of notable reputation.
Ancient and distinguished records of this family are also found in Martina Franca and Sant’Angelo dei Lombardi.
In the 19th century, a prominent branch also thrived with distinction in Catania.
